Thus, a strategy is paramount to enhance visibility of your store.

The seller needs to determine what site to sell his or her stuff. There are tens of site one can choose from. Choosing popular sites is more likely to give better outcomes. One may consider using free sites or paying a small fee on paid sites. Furthermore, one should find out if the site ranks well on the search engine results, the number of sellers on the site and if it is easy to navigate through its pages before selecting one platform. One could also feature products across several platforms.

The seller should use the keywords that clients usually use in their search for such products. This adds more traffic to his site from natural search by would-be customers. One could also use keyword marketing tools where provided by the specific site for page optimization which gives better visibility.

It is desirable to include some free service or offering in the products. Such could be free delivery, quantity or trade discount or shipping for overseas clients Buyers find such offers attractive as they seem to give them more value and are a better bargain. However, the added costs from such offerings should be included on the final price not to dent the profits. The seller should however refrain from setting the price too high. The price should be competitive given the price range of similar products on same site.

Take quality picture of particular product that you are selling. Since customers will be making decisions based on the images of particular product, they need to be clear. Moreover, pay attention to details. Take images from different angles if a single angle does not show all the details. Use a white background or just edit the background after taking the image.

Use caption that sell the product. Tell the visitors that the product is great for them. It caption should be concise and on point. The product features could be highlighted in bullets. The title should be catchy and in standard font. Ensure you show benefits of the products to the visitors.

There are sites that allow sellers to post videos. Videos are good at engaging with visitors and converting them to buyers of your products. Make videos that are informative, funny but short. Videos can be added to captions and pictures.

There are several payment platforms on these sites ranging from escrow to mobile and online payment options. The seller should pick options that are popular with his target population. Since most clients would review their experience with a seller and the product, quality service is paramount. Disputes should also be resolved promptly with necessarily involving a third party.
