Indian Born Deep Nishar Decides To Step Down From Position

The head of product for LinkedIn announced his departure. Deep Nishar will be leaving the company after six years. This will mean some changes for the website. He will be leaving the company in October but still plans to be connected with it in some form after his departure.

It is hard to say how much will change but with any company, something like this means there will be some changes. It might take some time for the company to figure out what they will do in regards to his position. They will need to hire someone else and that will also change the company a little bit.

With his work in regards to user base development and other related projects, he has helped Linkedin become one of the most powerful companies in the world in regards to social networking. It is in fact, the most powerful social network at a professional level in the world. He has turned the business into a 'go to' spot for professionals who want to connect and network. Deep Nishar is a graduate from IIT in India and has earned great respect from his colleagues because of what he has to offer.

What will he be doing in the near future? He has decided to take up an advisory role for now with the company just to keep up with things. He will not be doing any heavy lifting and will most like move onto another challenge down the road. He is enjoying life for the moment and reaping the rewards of all the work he has done for both Google and Linkedin.

Nishar started working for LinkedIn when the website had about 30 million members, and the population of the site has grown tenfold since then. Nishar has not disclosed what he plans to do next, or which company he will be working with. He has joined several boards recently, and has made it clear that he wants to work with a company that has the potential to "make a significant positive impact". He has an advisory role with Auction.com, and is also a board member of TripAdvisor and Opower.

Deep Nishar, LinkedIn's head of products and user experience has announced that he will be leaving the company as of October 3rd, having spent six years working with the popular professional networking site. Nishar came to the website from Google, where he previously worked in a similar product-focused capacity. Nishar says that he is looking forward to having the opportunity to help another vibrant young company grow in the way that he grew Google and LinkedIn.
